Practice

So I have to learn how to use flash more. I've been practicing and it's not so bad. I used it for the purple flower (pretty obvious) and I liked the effect I got. I'm pretty proud of my bee shot although I know I can do better with more practice.

Spring

Yesterday I went to the Alice Keck Memorial Garden for a homework assignment. I didn't find much in the way of flowers, but I'm sure there will be some soon now that Spring is coming. I thought the turtles were an interesting bunch to shoot.

New Class

I just started classes again and will be taking Nature Photography. I'm really excited. Here are a few images from the Andree Clark Bird Refuge and Santa Barbara Zoo.
